Convention Registration Opens Today
May 16, 2006 – It’s that time again. Registration for the 2006 NTA Annual Convention in Salt Lake City, Nov. 3-7, opens today at noon ET. Also at this time, the Convention Web site will be available with up-to-date Convention information including registration and hotel information, facts about the host city, educational highlights, sponsorship/advertising opportunities and the schedule of events.
You can register using either your Company or Individual ID. For quick reference, we printed your Individual ID on the mailing label of the Convention brochure mailed to your office last week. If you need more information before you register contact your Member Services team at 800.682.8886 (U.S. and Canada) or 859.226.4444.
This year’s host Salt Lake City has made some changes since NTA was last there in 2000. After hosting the 2002 Winter Olympics, the city expanded its airport facilities and security, rebuilt freeways, built a light-rail system, expanded the city’s convention space, and added new hotels, restaurants, and shopping venues. The city also added a $6.6 million downtown Olympic Legacy Plaza, a new $80 million Salt Lake City public library building, the new Clark Planetarium, the Alf Engen Winter Sports Museum, and saw continued development of The Gateway, a 650-acre, $375 million shopping and entertainment district in downtown Salt Lake.
