Jackson-Madison Co. CVB Escapes Tornado Damage
The office of the Jackson-Madison Co. Convention & Visitors Bureau in Jackson, Tenn., escaped damage from the May 4 tornado that destroyed a major portion of the city’s downtown area.

"We are fine, and our office was virtually untouched even though we’re in the heart of downtown Jackson. We were just extremely lucky," said De Rust, executive director.

Although the CVB’s office remains without power as does much of Jackson’s downtown area, the office’s phone system is functional and Rust and her staff are able to check voice mail. You may leave a message for the CVB staff at 731-425-8333 or 800-498-4748.
