About my travel photo
I was in Brazil for the first time with my best friend from childhood, Kirsten Patton, who also was my high school and USTA doubles partner. We had just played on these gorgeous clay courts at our resort, Ponta dos Ganchos, and were enjoying the most refreshing coconut water.
I’ve been with NTA …
… since January 1994.
What I do at NTA
As president of the association, I’m responsible for the day-to-day operations. I work with the NTA Board of Directors to establish the direction for NTA and then work with the staff to execute the direction to best serve the membership.
My education
I’m a graduate of Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky.
A travel memory
I have so many wonderful travel memories, it’s hard to pick one! I’ll go flashback mode and share about the first time my brother, sister, and I saw the ocean. We were on a family car trip to Myrtle Beach. We were all so excited to see the ocean that when Dad stopped the car, the three of us took off with Mom toward the ocean, and we all ran in—fully clothed. What a pure, awesome experience.
An interesting fact
During a concert in Lexington, Chris Isaak walked out into the audience, sat on my lap, and serenaded me.
